Chief Compliance Officer

The chief compliance officer is responsible for establishing and maintaining the bank’s compliance program. In addition, this position will provide strategic advice on the bank's regulatory and compliance environment, technical guidance on specific compliance matters and supervision of compliance staff.

Senior Director of Technology

The senior director of technology provides overall vision, leadership and hands-on support for developing and implementing technology initiatives and solutions. This position will be accountable for technology vision and leadership, technology management and line of business support.

Fraud Prevention Officer

The fraud prevention officer is responsible for developing, implementing and administering all aspects of the bank's fraud prevention programs. This position acts as a liaison between bank personnel and law enforcement authorities when responding to fraudulent or other criminal activity.

CDBA Member Industrial Bank seeks a risk management associate to provide support to the Compliance and Legal Department. This position will assist managers in operational, enterprise and regulatory risk management programs. The associate's responsibilities involve the implementation and maintenance of the risk management framework including business unit requirements, effective internal control processes and self-monitoring practices.

CDFI network Opportunity Finance Network seeks an SVP, small business initiatives responsible for delivering project management, strategic planning and implementation leadership for an initiative focused on educating small business owners about predatory lending and creating demand for responsible alternative lenders. The position is responsible for overall leadership of the project, providing general oversight, staff/contractor direction and day-to-day management.

SBA Business Development Officer

(Oakland/San Jose, Calif.)

The SBA Business Development Officer originates new 7a and 504 loan opportunities. This position will call on and develop an external referral source network to solicit SBA loan opportunities, analyzing the needs of prospects and providing information about products and services. The business development officer also will interview new loan applicants to gather information relative to their business needs, abilities and earnings to determine whether loans may be an acceptable risk and communicate credit decisions to prospects and customers.

Relationship Manager

(Oakland/San Jose, Calif.)

The relationship manager is responsible for the production of C&I loans, lines of credit and commercial real estate loans. This position will maintain and manage a loan portfolio and cross-sell all bank products and services with the goal of building relationships with business and personal clients. The relationship manager solicits, negotiates and underwrites loans in compliance with bank's credit policies and guidelines.

Credit Analyst

(Oakland/San Jose, Calif.)

The credit analyst is responsible for assisting loan officers in the evaluation of commercial credit and deal structure for C&I, commercial real estate and SBA customers. This position is responsible for preparing financial spreadsheets to properly assess cash flow and debt service coverage. The credit analyst will also be expected to conduct annual portfolio reviews and audits. This role assists in the preparation of credit approval memos and ensures that covenant compliance and financial reporting requirements are addressed.

CDBA member Urban Partnership Bank seeks a manager of compliance to manage regulatory requirements of the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act and the Office of Foreign Assets Control and Anti-Money Laundering. Responsibilities also include functions related to consumer compliance and CRA. The incumbent will serve as the Bank Secrecy Act Officer and work closely with the operations and IT departments to coordinate the program.

CDBA member Carver Federal Savings Bank seeks an underwriter/credit analyst, AVP to underwrite commercial and commercial real estate loans. This position is responsible for reviewing loan packages, interpreting credit quality information, conducting complex financial analyses and preparing narrative analyses for approval.

The U.S. Treasury seeks a CDFI Fund associate program manager to develop communication plans and strategies for the CDFI Fund. This role advises management on policy formulation and legislative issues. The associate program manager plans, executes and evaluates the effectiveness of various information in furthering CDFI Fund strategic goals. In addition, this role establishes or evaluates policies, procedures and protocols related to Treasury and federal policies.

The senior loan officer is responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with borrowers and managing relationships with participants in the broader housing industry. This position acts as the principal account manager for new and existing customers.  

Small Business Loan Officer

The small business lender will implement VCC’s lending programs for small businesses. The lender will assess credit needs in the market, recommend products or credit enhancements to respond to the capital needs and be responsible for the sale and closing of the products.

CRA Investment Manager

The CRA investment manager is responsible for managing a portfolio of innovative community development investments and loans in support of community development financial institutions and nonprofit affordable housing developers. Duties include working with community outreach staff to source opportunities as well as underwriting and negotiating investments.

Commercial Mortgage Credit Analyst

The commercial mortgage credit analyst examines complex non-profits and prepares credit reports including annual relationship reviews and downgrade or impairment memos. This position also assists in the preparation of new credit requests and performs various portfolio management duties.
