The ISD/information technology manager leads the day-to-day operations of the I.T. Department. This position works with department heads and senior management to ensure system optimization, maximum availability and enhanced security. This role is responsible for maintaining all core system processes and is key to all projects that involve technology.

Mortgage Originator

The mortgage originator originates permanent FHA/VA and conventional residential mortgage loans and participates in business development activities. Key responsibilities include soliciting residential first mortgages through contacts with realtors, builders, and developers. The mortgage originator will be required to build and retain relationships with realtors, builders and other referral sources.

OneUnited Bank seeks a VP of retail operations responsible for managing the operational performance and effectiveness of all OneUnited branch locations. This position oversees branch operations including key risk areas such as cash operations, branch capture, ATMs and dormant accounts. This role also manages the monitoring of internal control reports, staff training, branch security and compliance to bank regulations.

Commercial Underwriter

The commercial underwriter is the primary credit risk manager for commercial and institutional customers and transactions. This position works with businesses and product partners to analyze, structure, rate, document and approve credit exposures resulting from loans and other commercial banking products. The underwriter is also responsible for monitoring and managing an assigned portfolio. The underwriter plays an active role in building client relationships.

 

Loan Analyst

The loan analyst is responsible for the foreclosure and loan closing functions for an assigned portfolio of special assets accounts. This position is responsible for all processes affecting their accounts as well as working with operations areas, outside vendors and counsel to ensure special assets files are properly acted upon in a cost effective and timely manner. The loan analyst also assists asset managers with due diligence and loan servicing support.

The market director is accountable for the overall performance of their team, selecting new team members, arranging appropriate training, managing performance and addressing obstacles to ensure the team’s success.

CDBA member Albina Community Bank seeks a chief lending officer to lead the bank's lending activities and to supervise a team of commercial and small business relationship managers. The CLO is responsible for ensuring that loan, deposit, fee income and loan pricing goals are achieved or exceeded. The CLO is also responsible for new business development and manages a portfolio of borrowing and non-borrowing client relationships. The CLO is a member of senior management and participates in the development of all business initiatives with the staff, community and clients.

CDBA member City First Bank of D.C. seeks a senior loan administrator in charge of the pre- and post-documentation process for approved commercial loans. This role collects and reviews various documents required to close new or renewed loans. The loan administrator must collaborate with loan operation personnel when processing various loan transactions such as payments, advances, disbursements and the collection of payment of fees.

Loan Quality Control and Mortgage Compliance Manager

The loan quality control and mortgage compliance manager enhances the quality of residential mortgage originations and servicing operations. This position schedules and oversees pre-funding, post-funding and mortgage compliance reviews, then prepares reports detailing findings. This role also continually assesses production operations to ensure compliance with regulatory and investor requirements.

Business Analyst

The business analyst ensures each business unit receives the required information and technology assistance. This position assists with system maintenance of the bank's automated loan origination and secondary marketing system. The business analyst should understand the abilities, features and capabilities of banking applications that impact the assigned business unit and work with the information systems department on IT solutions.

Loan Risk Reviewer

The loan risk reviewer assists the chief credit officer and the risk management head with monitoring and managing credit risk within the Bank’s lending activities. This individual also provides a review and assessment of loans in the portfolio, identifying potential problems and ensuring compliance with established loan policies and federal regulations.

The relationship manager is responsible for soliciting new business, managing customer relationships and handling all phases of loan and deposit production. This position will develop business geared toward growth in new customer relationships, strengthening and expanding existing relationships and increasing profitability.

Senior Underwriter

The senior underwriter is responsible for structuring and underwriting loan requests along with preparing a credit approval package. This position will conduct financial analysis and provide credit recommendations based on a review that includes collateral, interest rate and loan structure. Other duties include spreading and analyzing customer’s financial information and collateral.

The commercial underwriter examines loan files, providing underwriting recommendation for credit requests. This position is responsible for determining whether a loan represents an acceptable risk to the bank and preparing credit recommendations.

The commercial loan officer oversees, develops and manages commercial loan business and maintains customer relationships. The loan officer develops new customer prospects and evaluates potential customer loan requests, performing credit review and underwriting commercial loans.

Commercial Loan Closer

(Brooklyn, NY)

The commercial loan closer is responsible for reviewing loan documents and coordinating closings for residential, commercial real estate and commercial loans. This role works closely with the bank's closing attorneys, loan officers and processors.

CDBA seeks a program and public policy coordinator responsible for assisting with public policy advocacy, development of education programs, special projects and general membership support. This position will conduct analysis of legislative and regulatory proposals that affect access to credit for low income communities. This role also supports CDBA's advocacy efforts, participates in event planning and writes the CDBA Newsflash.
