Whitesville State Bank

Whitesville State Bank was chartered in June 1946 in Whitesville, WV as a state bank and member of FDIC. Big Coal River Bancorp, a one bank holding company, was formed in 1986 and all bank shares were transferred to holding company stock.

The bank intends to remain independent and operate from all of their locations. They are aware that their banking franchise dictates a responsibility to their trading community. Whitesville State Bank will always be mindful and supportive of their community while providing the highest quality customer service available.

Winnsboro State Bank & Trust Company opened their doors in 1902 with assets totaling $20,000. By comparison, their assets totaled $270 million as of March 31, 2022. Likewise, their facilities and locations have grown over the years.

Originally located in the former offices of The Franklin Sun, their facilities have been moved and upgraded multiple times since the founding of the bank. Today, their main office is located at 3875 Front Street in Winnsboro, Louisiana – with full-service branches in Gilbert, Mangham, Rayville, and loan production in Ruston.
